The SVS Program is designed to provide comprehensive support.
Scholars and their families receive:
Post-Secondary Scholarship – Up to $30,000 per student (maximum of $7,500 yearly) to support their post-secondary education.
Delivery of financial support begins upon student enrollment in post-secondary school.
Academic Enrichment – Access to tutoring and resources to strengthen academic performance and deepen engagement with learning.
Scholarship & Internship Opportunities – Ongoing access to external scholarships and paid work-integrated learning opportunities.
Mentorship & Goal-Setting – Ongoing guidance from mentors to support career exploration and long-term planning beyond the classroom.
Wellness & Support – Access to mental health resources, workshops, and peer engagement opportunities for scholars and caregivers.
Hands-on Learning Experiences – Engagement in real-world STEM activities, including networking events, site visits, and community-based projects.
Financial Literacy & Family Support – Workshops and resources to help students and caregivers plan for the future.
Engagement in Visions of Science’s STEM Journey Programming – Scholars participate in structured STEM programming that fosters leadership, problem-solving, and community involvement.
